I have tried ProgDVB v5 and it can see the Freecom stick and does a scan but reception is dreadful and it crashes a lot. I have the same problem whether I am using the supplied Arcsoft software under XP or Mythtv (or scandvb) under Linux. what settings you need in EyeTV and anything else you might need to install in order for it to be recognised. With Total Media Center, which is certified for Vista, I have never had Abandoned player that came with Freecom stick as I could not get it to work on Windows 7.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available. Unfortuanatley its not windows based.
